Mod Introduction
Adds 100 great theme fitting songs from "More Where That Came From" by OldManMose76 to Galaxy News Radio while retaining the original 20 songs. Many enhancements and fixes including synching three-dog news reports to quest progress.
Description:
Adds 100 new, thematically fitting songs from OldManMose76's "More Where That Came From" to Galaxy News Radio, while keeping the original 20 tracks.
Many Radio enhancements and fixes including:
- Allows Three Dog to mention you after level 20.
- Suppresses quest news stories after completion (Oasis, Grayditch, Canterbury Commons, Tenpenny Tower).
- Adds a story about the Outcasts fighting the Brotherhood.
- Increases the chance of playing player-specific news.
- Fixed an issue with NewsLink play mode.
- Plays safeguards for songs and specific news stories upon introduction.
- Adds missing player gender checks for some stories (Head of State, Trouble on the Homefront, Paradigm of Humanity intro).
- Expands Nuka-Cola challenge news story from 1 line of dialogue to 4 lines.
- Adds outros to 12 original songs if played last.
- Adds intros to 12 original songs if played first.
- Increases song memory list.
- All audio files have had their volumes normalized.
- Stereo MP3 audio files contain an ID tag with the correct song information.
Requirements:
None.
Several additional GNR bugfixes for the Broken Steel DLC are included in the Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.
Installation:
Installing with FOMM or NMM:
1. Add and activate downloaded archive. Done!
Manual Installation:
1. Extract "GNR Enhanced v1.2.7z".
2. Put the "sound" folder into your Fallout 3 "Data" folder.
3. Place "GNR Enhanced.esp" into your Fallout 3 "Data" folder.
4. Enable "GNR Enhanced.esp" in your Fallout 3 launcher.
**Troubleshooting:**
Stuttering radio is often fixed by either
1) Run http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/installedcodec.zip and disable LAV Splitter & Lav Audio Decoder.
2) ONLY IF #1 doesn't work, copy madfilter.ax from http://sourceforge.net/projects/maddxshow/files/MAD%20Filter/MADFilter%201.0.0.3/
to C:/Windows/SysWOW64
Run as administrator, go to the same folder, and type
regsvr32 madfilter.ax
3) Creative X-Fi users, try Creative Alchemy. Search online for Fallout settings.

Compatibility:
This mod is incompatible with any mod that alters Galaxy News Radio.
Compatible with Conelrad Civil Defense Radio mod, if its .esp plugin is loaded after (below) GNR's.

- Removed silence at the beginning and end of applicable tracks.
- Normalized the volume for the WAV files; previously, only the MP3 files were adjusted.
- Removed noise from one of the tracks that I mistakenly missed.
- Removed ID tag from the mono mp3 tracks.
- Removed incorrect loop patterns from the end of 28 tracks.
- Replaced mono MP3 files that were labeled as stereo with actual stereo files.
- Repacked the mod into a single RAR archive for better compression than the original.
- Added a fomod folder for easy installation with FOMM.
- Fixed ESP description containing excessive data.
