Since some people really just want to go absolutely wild with this mod, here's one that bypasses all sanity checks in place: Generic Sanity Bypass

Here's how the mod works:
Augmentations have 7 slots for modifying armor. Each slot can hold different effects that stack (for example, adding an attack boost to two slots results in attack boost +2, or putting defense +6 in one slot and defense +8 in another gives defense +14).

The game has sanity checks. I don’t know what’s legal or not, but if it strips your augmentations, that’s illegal.

To start using the mod, visit the smithy (blacksmith) and choose Qurious Armor Crafting, then select the equipment you want to modify.

Example usage: Adding Attack Boost to Kamura Legacy Braces

First, we add two S-Tier skills. Since Attack Boost is considered S-Tier for augmentation, we spend 15 points on each.
We have currently spent 30 points, which is 10 over the piece's limit. If we leave it as is, all augments will be removed by the sanity check.
Next, we remove Divine Blessing from the piece, costing -10 points, bringing us to 20. The equipment is now legal.
Let's also add some defense. Adding +10 defense costs 5 points, which leaves us at 25 points spent, once again making the piece illegal.
To compensate, we add Fire Res -3, worth -3 points, and Fire Res -2, worth -2 points. The piece is now at 20 out of 20 points spent, making it legal and usable in hunts!
